“Comodo per l’aeroporto, ma migliorabile”

The concierge greeted us with a big smile and gave plenty of tips about the area, how to get around, where to eat and what to do. The kids loved the unusual selection of streaming channels available. The room only had one tiny window, so the light and air were far from ideal. There was no fridge, and even though we were four people, we only received two towels and a single set of shower products. When we arrived around 12:30, the door to our room was completely open, as were the doors of several other rooms. We had to pay 400 pesos for early check‑in, while the regular check‑in was after 15:00; the rate was stated in the terms, though we didn’t know it beforehand. The hotel was noticeably empty, with many rooms free and maintenance work underway, so a small gesture toward the guest would have been appreciated. The property is built around a large covered courtyard where the air‑conditioning was off and new‑age music played continuously; the transition from the hall to the rooms felt a bit unsettling.

The staff were friendly. The room had no windows, so it was dark during the day. There was no fridge to cool drinks, which is a problem in such a hot place. The location is fine if you’re just passing through, as it’s close to a bus stop and the highway.
