I paid for a listing that advertised an accessible double queen room with a roll‑in shower for mobility. The room was on the second floor, far from the elevator, which was the first red flag. The door was extremely heavy and auto‑closing, making it unusable for a wheelchair. There wasn’t enough space to maneuver a chair in the room, the beds were double instead of queen, and the tub was a standard one, not the advertised roll‑in shower. When I called the office, they insisted it was their accessible room because there were grab bars in the shower and next to the toilet. I paid a higher rate for an accessible room that turned out to be a lie.

The price was reasonable, but the waterpark was shut down, the rooms had a misty fungus and smoke odor, the hot tub was unavailable, there was no breakfast, the area was unpleasant, and it wasn’t suitable for children.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, yet the tub had a rust stain and the faucet kept leaking, probably causing that stain, and the water park was closed so we couldn’t enjoy it.
