“Une journée d’anniversaire gâchée par une accumulation d’erreurs des gérants.”
I’m too upset to recall any positives. We parked where the hotel indicated. For a wedding, the no‑parking signs had been removed and the barriers opened. At check‑in, the manager Marion didn’t warn us that parking was prohibited; a simple heads‑up would have saved us. The next morning at 7 am, before the tow truck removed the cars, police asked Marc, the manager on site, if the vehicles belonged to his guests. He said no, yet we were guests at this five‑room hotel, the only one in the village, and two of the two cars taken belonged to his guests! The result was a tow and a ruined 60th‑birthday celebration for my sister. After a hard month‑long fight, the managers finally addressed part of the issue but still refuse to pay the resulting fine. A lack of information, a wrong answer to the police, and a laborious, incomplete response show a disturbing lack of professionalism. I do not recommend it.
