The welcome was top. The staff were friendly and smiling. The rooms were spacious, bright, and extremely clean. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast buffet was abundant, with sweet and savory options. If I ever go to Arezzo again, it will definitely be a great reference point. Highly recommended.

The staff were welcoming, kind, available, and ready to meet our needs. We dined at the hotel’s restaurant and ate very well. It was a very pleasant experience. I have to mention…

The hotel is welcoming, the reception staff are kind and helpful, the parking is spacious and free, and breakfast is plentiful and varied. The room has a basic but cozy and clean décor, with a nice window overlooking the hills. You need a car to reach the center of Arezzo.

Breakfast was fine, but the staff were still tidying up from the previous night while we ate. On arrival we asked what time the restaurant opened only to be told we couldn’t use it because they had a private event. No apologies, she just explained the situation and showed no interest that we’d chosen the hotel for its parking and restaurant. There was nowhere else to eat nearby, so all we could get was crisps and nuts. We bought a bottle of Prosecco for €9, but were told we couldn’t borrow glasses unless we bought the bottle from the bar at a price of €24 for the same Prosecco. So in other words they would charge us €15 to hire two glasses! We therefore had to drink out of paper cups. The room was shabby with peeling plastic on the wardrobe and glue smeared down the glass. The bathroom had a badly scratched glass sink and very poor lighting making it almost impossible to see to apply makeup. There was nowhere else in the room to do this. One bedside light didn’t work and the table was too wobbly to use safely. There were only thick plastic tumblers available for water and juice at breakfast – the sort you’d find in a bathroom. Despite notices asking for noise to be kept to a minimum, at 8:30 the cleaning staff were slamming around in adjacent rooms so loudly that the bedside table shook, so no chance of a Sunday lie in. Giving two stars is generous and the only reason I gave two was that we had parking and a comfortable bed. The service was appalling and I certainly wouldn’t recommend staying there.

The hall was fine. The breakfast was not.
