We usually love Candlewood Suites, but this one fell short. Our room had a strong dog smell and was unclean, so we were moved to another room, which was slightly better. The laundry area was dirty and in need of repairs. Paying extra for parking in the area was unacceptable; it should be included in the price, especially at the rates charged. $$$

The room flooded when I checked in and no other rooms were available. I’d booked a week earlier. I was moved to a room at the neighboring Fairfield, but the only room left was a handicapped room—very uncomfortable and not what I paid for. The whole experience was horrible.

The room was nice and clean, and the food bar was tasty. However, there was nothing nearby and no facilities to justify the cost, plus no breakfast.

Conveniently located near the freeway and the surrounding area, the roll‑in shower was a highlight, but the handicapped room felt cramped—there wasn’t enough bathroom space to set items on, and no spot for a cup.
