“Qualcosa da migliorare, ma per un soggiorno di poche notti fattibile”
The riad sits right in the souk, making it convenient to walk around the city center, the port, and the beach. In room 7 the bathroom door was missing; it would have been better to note that in the photos. There’s a strong damp smell, likely from the city’s climate, which shows up on clothes and sheets. The bathroom linen was subpar: two beach towels that weren’t properly washed for intimate use, so we used our own towels. Breakfast was typical and plentiful but very monotonous; the host kindly accommodated our request for a few eggs in the morning, which is nice for guests staying more than four or five nights. A big note: there’s a mosque’s loudspeaker right next to the riad, so you’ll be woken at 5 am by the call to prayer, and because the room’s windows and walls are thin, it’s audible inside. This should be mentioned. If I had known, I would have reconsidered this booking.
