Location was easy to find, but overall cleanliness was very poor and safety felt flimsy. Basic items like hand towels and toilet paper were missing. Although cheap, at nearly the same price there seemed to be much higher quality options, reviews were misleading. I don't recommend it, especially for asthmatics or those with allergies because of the risk of mold.

The place is close to the bus station, which was a real plus for me.

Wonderful rustic location and building. Peace, Tranquility and Quiet away from it all. An oasis. Warm and endearing. one of the selling points was the old wood fired sauna. in 4 days I was reluctantly let use it one night and it quickly burnt out. it became clear that one of the french girls who worked there as part of her keep operated on an invite only basis to which residents she offered the sauna to. The sauna was only fired up for her convenience and hers alone

Overall, the layout was cozy and I met some great people, but the location was really inconvenient with very few bus services. The hair dryer was weak, and the blankets and pillows were a bit old; I had to borrow a second blanket and pillow because the other bed was empty.

The hostel met our needs in Rovaniemi and the volunteers were genuinely helpful. Its spot is excellent, just a few meters from the bus stop and K‑mart.
