“Porte bien son nom”
The owner was very kind and helpful! Even though we arrived early because we overlooked the check‑in times, he did everything he could to welcome us as soon as possible and apologized for the delay, which was not his fault. He was also available to answer any questions after we settled in. The room was clean with a very large jacuzzi, perfect for a romantic stop that lives up to its name. The mattress had a slight sag in the middle, but given the owner’s attentiveness I wouldn’t be surprised if that issue was fixed quickly. The room was relatively dark.

The breakfast came in a wooden box with two cups and biscuits; there was no small coffee machine, so we had to rely on instant coffee. There was no dishware at all—nothing. The owners lived next to the accommodation, and when I asked them to bring us two glasses, they gave us a bottle of water and two plastic cups, nothing else. People coming for a romantic weekend with a bottle of champagne can only drink from plastic cups. The “terrace” was full of leaves, the chairs were never polished. The owner was friendly and offered help when we needed a taxi.
The host was extremely welcoming and friendly, and the place looked exactly as it did in the photos.
The owners were kind, the welcome was excellent, the accommodation was very clean—a real little cocoon in the heart of Wallers. We’ll return without hesitation and will also visit their other property.
Everything was perfect. The only issue was the lack of ventilation in the room and the humidity caused by the jacuzzi that lingered in the air.
