The castle is nicely set in the countryside, surrounded by a large beautiful garden, farms on one side of the property and a quiet little village on the other, yet only a short distance from Sighișoara and other attractions; the neighboring village also gave us a glimpse of local life and its distinctive building style with gardens. We stayed in a room with thick stone walls and a stone floor that stayed cool in the summer heat, featuring comfortable beds, a nice bathroom, garden views and our own little patio. The delicate breakfast—eggs, fresh vegetables, fruit and local specialties—served in a lovely dining hall was exactly what we wanted and more. The friendly owner welcomed us warmly, making us feel truly at home. Having visited once before, we’re eager to return.

“A lovely stay”

We enjoyed a great stay at this beautifully renovated castle. The room was comfortable, the garden stunning, and the staff were kind, friendly, and always ready to help. The guided tour of the castle was a lovely bonus that we really appreciated. We’d definitely recommend it if you’re after a unique and relaxing spot.

The hotel is very nice and has been beautifully renovated. It’s kid‑friendly and close to many attractions that can be reached easily by car.
