This hotel is a lovely retreat away from the tourist crowds yet still within walking distance of Sighişoara/Schäßburg’s centre. The rooms are tastefully decorated and fully equipped. The interior design cleverly echoes the old post station. We dined at the restaurant every night and were very pleased. A big shout out to the staff who called us minutes after we left to remind us about forgotten items. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Sighişoara.

La ubicación es perfecta, cerca de la ciudad amurallada. El desayuno está bien y las camas son cómodas. La vista al torre del reloj es muy bonita. El acceso a la habitación era por detrás y dentro del restaurante.

La Pensiunea Gasthaus Alte Post è un affascinante albergo storico situato in una posizione strategica: in pieno centro a Sighișoara, ma appena fuori dalle mura della cittadella, in una zona dove è molto facile trovare parcheggio (seppur a pagamento). La struttura dispone di un eccellente ristorante interno, specializzato in pizze, e si affaccia su una strada sufficientemente tranquilla da garantire notti serene e silenziose, anche dormendo con le finestre aperte. La cittadella antica è davvero a due passi: in pochi minuti a piedi si raggiungono i luoghi più iconici della città, potendosi dimenticare completamente dell'auto. Le stanze sono eleganti e spaziose, dotate di letti comodissimi e di un mobilio semplice ma di design. Anche il bagno è molto accogliente, con sanitari moderni e una pulizia davvero impeccabile
