“Настоящий исторический музей, в котром можно пожить.”
This is a real museum estate. The bartender claimed the building is 200 years old. It started as a 17th‑century monastery, then became a Spanish family estate, and now a hotel. Wooden furniture, paintings, décor, and statues have been preserved, and there are pre‑Columbian artifacts: textiles, post‑mortem masks, clothing, pottery, burial vessels—similar to those in a museum in Lima. The rooms are quite comfortable, with good mattresses, pillows, and bedding. Hot water pressure is excellent, and the heating works. The restaurant‑lounge is very interesting. Pheasants roam the grounds; we counted 13, and there’s a pool. The property is huge; we only spent two hours walking around and saw everything. It’s worth traveling to South America just for this place, not just to Nacá. Highly recommend it to lovers of authentic lodging and history. Don’t waste money—book a luxury or semi‑luxury room; it’s worth it. There’s nothing nearby, so you can spend half a day exploring and a night on the way through Peru.
There was nothing negative. The hotel has 88 rooms and our family was the only guests. It felt like a ghost hotel—an interesting experience.
