François‑Xavier was very welcoming and made us feel at home. Will return.

François Xavier welcomed us simply, after sending us a message the day before with info and tips. He showed us the common areas, our room, and explained how the house works. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful – a nice discovery. Nothing to note.

The reception was friendly and attentive. We could book the outdoor Jacuzzi on the spot and enjoy it. The house lives in the spirit of writer Marcel Proust (quotes, books). The B&B is a bit remote, so it’s very quiet. The restaurant for dinner in Fismes was about 15 minutes by car, a bit far, but we ate very well there. The breakfast was bland; as vegetarians we felt it was lacking.
