“Optimal für uns”

The stay was really nice! The house is super modern, stylishly furnished, and offers everything you need. Especially cool: everything was ready for a relaxed start upon arrival – towels, kitchen towels, tea, two Nespresso capsules for the first one or two days, dishwasher tabs, and dish soap. The property is well maintained, very clean, and simultaneously natural. Exactly the mix of modern and relaxed that we liked. Small note: there is no television – not a problem for us. We felt very comfortable and will gladly return!

“It was fine, but due to some issues that happened we wouldn’t come back”

The accommodation has an indoor sauna, a large area, and a fully functional kitchen if needed. There are swimming spots on the premises, you can use the nearby forest for SUP boards and walks, and it’s also great for cycling (though we didn’t try because we had a dog). Dog friendly and parking available. The swimming spots had some bacteria during our stay, so swimming was at our own risk. We tried dinner at the on‑site restaurant, didn’t like it much, so we went to the nearest city for dinner. Hot tubs are available and can be reserved. When we booked the electric one and arrived at the reservation time, it wasn’t warm yet because the staff hadn’t turned it on early enough; they offered us the wood‑burning one instead, but when we got there at the new time, there was almost no firewood left and the water wasn’t warm. We ended up buying more firewood from a nearby place that had none, and by the time the water was roughly warm, it was almost time for the next reservation, so we had to leave. It might have been off‑season, but we won’t come back.

It was a magical vacation. The water lodge we had was fantastic. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the view of the water was pure relaxation. The entire package with paddle boards and the wellness area was simply free. We didn’t try the restaurant, but the beach bar was also very cozy. All staff are very nice and helpful. We’ve already booked for next year, which speaks for De Parel. Thank you very much for this wonderful, relaxing, and magical place.

“Heerlijk en ontspannen”

The peace, you stay in the middle of nature. There are many activities and facilities on the park. The glamping tent wasn’t very clean. The tent is fairly dark, so it’s hard to see the cleanliness. But if you look behind or under the beds you’ll find a lot of dust and items that aren’t yours but have been left there. We also felt that the communal jacuzzi wasn’t cleaned often; there was a slick layer and some colored water. When it rains, your clothes / bathrobe get wet while you’re in the sauna; a small roof would help.

I appreciated the roll‑bread service, the sauna and hot tub, and generally liked the resort’s great potential that isn’t being used; however, cleanliness was a serious issue throughout the site, the hot tubs weren’t cleaned until we asked, the kids’ vehicles were broken, kayaks disappeared for three days, there were no small forks or spoons in the rooms, the grounds were poorly maintained (the beach‑bar mattress looked terrible), the electric‑car charger didn’t work and no one followed up after we reported it, beach‑bar opening hours weren’t posted, the motorhome spots had no toilet access because everything was closed, and at checkout nobody asked about our satisfaction—overall the price‑performance ratio was far from acceptable despite the resort’s huge potential.
