Vilmaris Luxe Hotel, Calangute

Absolutely loved my stay from 27th to 30th August! ✨ The property was beautiful, the stay was super comfortable, and the vibe was simply amazing. Everything felt relaxing, elegant, and perfectly Goan. 🌴✨ A truly memorable experience — would definitely love to stay here again! ❤️

Firstly we were put in a fantastic room at the beginning of our stay. The room smelt great and the room service was delicious. Our stay got ruined when the staff woke us up one morning telling us we had to move rooms, as they were getting pest control in;they showed us three rooms that all smelt funny, the staff said it was because they had just “painted” and the smell should go, we dropped off our bags and went out. When we returned the smell was so strong and after closer inspection the room was a lot dirtier. That’s not the worst part… I had recently come down with a flu and had trouble breathing so being in this room made my chest tighten, then I checked the bedding!!! Mold all over it!! I asked to change rooms where low and behold it also had mold on the bedding but at this point I had been changing rooms all day and it was also my birthday….which made the whole situation worse. Also another thing to mention on our first day staying there the staff asked us to make a video for free drinks and I felt it was a little uncomfortable as we had not really experienced the hotel yet, so I had to exaggerate and say it was great
