“In need of renovation”
For the price, especially with Petra in mind, it was tolerable. The stone exterior, patio, and breakfast room were tastefully arranged. The AC worked flawlessly, and the spot was near the centre if you drive; private parking added a perk. The breakfast was fresh and excellent, and the owner was friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom felt outdated and worn; the toilet cistern leaked and the shower sprayed everywhere, the carpet was poorly fitted and looked dirty, and the décor was dull and clearly in need of renovation. Outside the room, there were unexpected items like an old bed, a mattress, and old furniture. The stone steps to the entrance, while authentic, made lugging luggage a challenge.
