“Calme, relaxe”

The welcome was warm, the explanations about how the house works were clear, the huge park is gorgeous, the place is peaceful and natural, the breakfast is good, and the person running breakfast is kind. There’s no TV, but overall it’s fine 😅

A wonderful historic estate with century‑old buildings set in a park‑like setting. The pool is the best I've ever seen. It’s excellently maintained. The hosts expect guests to treat them and their magnificent property with dignity and respect, though some reviews suggest this isn’t always achieved. One of the buildings displays items from the 1859 war era, and the owners guide the exhibition with great passion. We’re grateful for the lovely, genuine ladies; they deserve to be proud of their family, tradition and dedication to preserving their splendid estate. “Een bijzonder teleurstellend verblijf – de werkelijkheid staat ver af van de foto's”

The location is undeniably beautiful: quiet in the hills and close to Lake Garda. Unfortunately, that was the only real plus for us. From the moment we arrived, the gap between reality and the carefully styled photos shown online became obvious. After we were assigned our room, we had to climb a flight of stairs where four cats awaited us. The surroundings of our studio were messy and untidy. The stylish, idyllic vibe portrayed in the photos was almost absent. Our first thought was, where on earth did we end up? The small studio itself confirmed that impression. The furnishings seemed like a random assortment rather than a thoughtfully arranged holiday home. There was not a single comfortable chair to sit in. The bed was downright awful. The mattress was barely about 8 cm thick and gave us sleepless nights and back pain. For six nights at that price, that’s completely unacceptable. A decent bed is not a luxury; it’s the absolute minimum you should expect. The pool and garden were fortunately as shown in the photos, but even there the holiday feeling was almost immediately crushed. Upon arrival, we were handed a long list of rules. Instead of feeling welcomed and relaxed, we felt we had to constantly consider what was allowed and what wasn’t. It was not at all hospitable. The staff who served breakfast were friendly and deserve a positive mention. We cannot say the same about the host and her mother. There was no warm welcome, and throughout our stay, no one asked if everything was fine or if we needed anything. The attitude was distant. Interestingly, there was a hint of friendliness when wine was for sale. We also found the breakfast with plastic plates and cups unsuitable for this price level. After three days, we had to ask for clean towels ourselves, and to our surprise, we had to pay extra for them at checkout. We travel often to Italy and are used to much more hospitality. The difference between the stunning online presentation and what we found on site was huge. For this price, you can expect much more comfort, quality, and hospitality. We would not stay here again and cannot recommend this accommodation.

“Ein perfekter Platz zum Entspannen”

The area is great, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. We appreciated the fantastic pool and air conditioning during the summer heat. The electric car charging station unfortunately didn’t work with our credit card.
