“Location for our needs was perfect. Comfort of the room needed improvement.”

I liked the walk‑in shower, the large kitchen, and the close proximity to the highway and Portage Lakes. The air conditioner in our room wasn’t working properly; we told the staff and were told the a/c was struggling to keep up with the heat outside, which I didn’t believe because my daughter’s room was nice and cool. Thankfully we brought a fan, as the temperature never dropped below 80 °F in our room. The elevator also wasn’t working properly.

“We’ll choose a different hotel next time.”

Some staff were friendly and the rooms were spacious. The location was easy to reach, and there were plenty of local restaurants around. However, we received fewer pillows and towels than the number of people in our reservation, and when we asked for more pillows they said they didn’t have any extras—only one more was available. Breakfast had rotten fruit and expired yogurt, and no waffles. The pool area looked clean, but the bathroom hadn’t been looked at in a long time.
