Spiders were in the shower, the blanket was worn out and thin, the mattress was worn out and lumpy, the pillows were flat, and the walls were so thin you hear everything. The Mayo shuttles don’t go here because they don’t subscribe to the service.

On August 30, 2026 at approximately 5:30pm, the front desk guy was rude, unprofessional, and abusive. He needs to be fired. I did not stay.

There was no parking space for vehicles; the center of the parking area was cluttered with junk, there was no room to maneuver, the parking lot was full of cracks and potholes, and I had to pay a $100 damage deposit. Dogs barked all night in the rooms next to mine. I used my credit card to pay the $100 damage deposit, and after midnight there were three fraudulent purchases on my card, so I had to lock my card and now I can’t get my $100 damage deposit back. This room cost me $233 for one night only, but I was forced to pay for two nights. I ended up staying in St Mary's hospital and they refused to give me my money back for the second night.

The front doors look nice, but the woman behind the counter was very rude. The younger staff member let me bring my service animals the night before, yet the older lady yelled at me and told me I couldn’t stay past Friday, forcing me to check out for a full 24 hours and re‑check in afterward. She apparently knew an antique car show was coming and the parking lot was full, so she seemed to want me gone because she only earns about $80 a night but hikes the rate when the town’s busy. She treats guests like numbers, not people, and I have a recording if anyone wants to see it.
