“Wunderbar und entspannend, wir kommen wieder!”

The location and view are beautiful. The houseboat is cozy, very clean, and equipped with everything you need. The check‑in/check‑out process was smooth, and the required information was provided in detail and on time. The entire facility is well maintained. Even the small welcome package was nice. The quiet and the morning view with coffee outside are simply dreamy; we will definitely return! The only tiny flaw: my pillow was uncomfortable.

Staying on a houseboat on the Mookerplas was amazing, with a beautiful view over the tranquil lake; the back row boats (boat 12 to 21) have a rooftop terrace, while the front row boats (boat 1 to 11) lack a rooftop but sit right on the lake’s edge. It’s small but has everything you need, suitable for two adults and two small children or three adults. The décor is nice and everything is very clean. Several restaurants nearby and lovely walking routes around the lake with beaches, St. Jansberg and Mookerheide; the Strandtent Dushi is a must‑visit within walking distance, as is the restaurant Mare at the Yachtclub. Communication with the harbor master was super helpful. The TV keeps cutting out because of no connection/poor Wi‑Fi coverage. Bellvilla is also part of the complex, and their organization for communication is terrible. There was confusion about one pet; on Booking it was fine and an extra fee was paid, but at Bellvilla it suddenly became a problem and they asked for another extra fee even though we had already paid for it.
