I didn’t like anything; I stayed at the hotel door because the key wasn’t there, so I couldn’t access the room at 2 a.m. I went looking for another room but found none. I’m still waiting for compensation that I already requested.

I paid for a single room with a shared toilet and I was very grateful I was placed in room number 3, which is next to the toilet because I get up at night! Haha, intentional or not – it was much appreciated! The room was more than adequate – the TV had essential channels, the desk was a nice size with tea/coffee available, the sink was clean, the bed was comfy and the pillows were amazing and fluffy, a rarity I find (I travel a lot). They’re normally lumpy and horrible, but these were like clouds – a small thing to some people but it really impressed me. The room was very clean, the shower was lovely – the shower gel smelled amazing, I had everything I needed for a two‑night stay. Finally, the check‑in – I’d never done a self‑check‑in before, so I was a bit wary, but it was so easy and although it was next to the pub it didn’t affect my stay. P.S. The food in the pub/restaurant was top tier (I had a tikka masala, pilau rice, garlic naan and a Fanta which came to roughly £25 and the portions were HUGE, more than enough for one person as I was stuffed and had to leave some, could have easily fed two people). Maybe the pressure in the shower, but it wasn’t detrimental and I was still able to have a nice shower.

Nothing. The smell on the stairs was dangerous, so getting out of bed was risky as you could easily hit your head. There was noise from the toilet and from doors banging.

Convenient to Watford town centre and trains into London property very convenient. As there was a person in the next room who constantly made noise all night from 8/9pm till 6/7 am this person was alone but was constantly running and jumping around no thought for other people I had very little to no sleep very disturbed why is there so horrible people that only think of themselves and no care for others
