I liked that it’s a small boutique hotel, very quaint with very helpful staff. The rooms were clean and spacious. I also loved the casuarina trees. The property is very serene. An excavator was working on the beach all day, disturbing the quiet. We had lunch at The Bungalow while we waited for our rooms; the food wasn’t very good. My husband’s burger was more like a sausage, and my cgar kway teow was bland.

The double room sat right beside the beach with a view of the sea, and the pool, breakfast and staff were all excellent; even though the building isn’t brand‑new, it still felt classy, yet the shower’s water pressure was erratic.

Got an early check‑in because the room was free, and the staff were friendly and easy to talk to. The outdoor tub was nice, but we had to ask for robes.

We enjoyed a wonderful two‑night stay at this lovely hotel with a big pool, a beautiful room and a very extensive breakfast – it was a great place, though we only stayed two nights because Batu Ferringi didn’t offer a four‑day base, so we split the time with two nights in George Town; nothing negative to report.
