We received a warm welcome from the owners, the setting is very peaceful, the breakfast and evening meals were good, and the “Afrique” room was very comfortable with its shower.

The location made it easy to reach the festival, yet the rustic room felt a bit gloomy with no window opening, breakfast was limited with little butter, a meal cost €24 for a dish and a dessert of two industrial ice‑cream scoops, drinks were extra, the couple was nice but language barriers hindered real conversation.

The owners’ hospitality was excellent, the festival of La Chaise Dieu was nearby, and it was quiet, but getting to the rooms required a difficult staircase.
