The spot was charming and the host greeted us warmly; everything was straightforward. The rooms were very comfortable, and the heater was already on when we arrived. The only downside was the kitchen, which only had a microwave and a kettle—more would have been nice.

Everything was spotless, the staff friendly, and the location convenient. There was nothing that I didn’t like.

The place sits in a great spot; the working farm lets you watch sheep herding and feeding around 17:00. The gardens are wide open with seating and cushions for a peaceful evening drink. Rooms are spacious, heated, and come with comfortable beds, high‑quality linen, and an electric blanket. The shower is large, water pressure is good, and the towels are top quality; a gas geyser supplies plenty of hot water. The kitchenette has a bar fridge, fresh milk for coffee, and complimentary rusks. There’s a braai area with charcoal (you bring your own) or a gas braai with plates, cutlery, etc. Breakfast was excellent 👌

The rooms were clean and nice. The only drawback was that dinner wasn’t available, so we had to drive back to town.

Everything was awesome—the location was a bit cold, but since it was right in the middle of our journey, that worked out fine.
