The views were great and the other guests were friendly, but the room cleaning could use a bit more attention.
The view was fantastic, the pool was gorgeous, and it was quiet. Unfortunately there was no TV, the cleanliness and comfort could have been better, we had to switch rooms after a sleepless night with a broken AC, cash only, and the slopes to the pool made walking a bit of a workout.
The bay view was exceptional, and the room was pretty big, but a few details made a difference: the fridge didn't cool and there were bats living in the cabin that could be heard at night.
The staff were well‑informed, breakfast was tasty, and the location was unique – we really enjoyed the pool and the view. The furnishings were a bit spartan, though.
Like everywhere in Costa Rica, there were no hand towels in the bathroom and the plumbing was a bit of an adventure. The AC was also very loud.
