The sunrise views from the room and the property are exceptional, showing the sea, Stromboli, and Panarea islands. The restaurants, port area, and bus station are all within walking distance. Angela is a very helpful and gracious host. No negatives.

“A beautiful hotel with lovely, welcoming staff”

The hotel is gorgeous, spotless inside and out, and incredibly quiet; we loved falling asleep and waking up to the sea sound. Our room offered a sea view with a lovely sight of Stromboli and Panarea. There were plenty of outdoor seating spots, both shaded and sunny. It sits nicely by the seafront, and we also enjoyed a walk to the port and town on Via Risorgimento—great if you like cats. One of Angela’s staff welcomed us warmly (I didn’t catch her name, but she was very friendly and helpful), and the next morning we met Angela herself, who was lovely—despite the language barrier she made us feel so welcome! Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. I highly recommend Hotel Punta Barone. Nothing to dislike, it’s a perfect 10/10.

“Splendido. Ci mancheranno albe e tramonti con Panarea e Stromboli sullo sfondo.”

The location is stunning, the building is impeccably clean, the housekeeper is very kind, and the room has an exceptional view. The guests are polite and quiet. It’s just steps from the center, great restaurants, and all the necessary services. Nothing negative. The only improvement suggestion—though not bothersome thanks to the guests’ politeness—is better soundproofing between rooms.
