I was really disappointed with this place; the owner was extremely rude when I told him I’d already arranged the safari elsewhere. The night was noisy around my room, so I couldn’t sleep. I had dinner here—fried rice—and it was terrible. I can’t recommend it to anyone.

The service was awful, which is why I’m giving it 2 stars. We arrived after check‑in time and the room was dirty, and they only realized it then. We ate at the hotel and I warned the staff about my intolerances and asked them to remove ingredients from a dish; the waiter noted it correctly, but the cook ignored it and served me the wrong meal. On top of that, we ordered takeaway breakfast because we had to check out early, and when we went to reception to pick it up, after several attempts they told us they’d forgotten to prepare it. Most of the staff don’t speak any English, so explaining was very difficult. In short, the service was terrible and I won’t return.

This is a gorgeous hotel with very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff, and a lovely pool. All the food is organic and made with fresh ingredients. Upon arrival we were greeted with a drink. It’s super quiet, tucked away in a side street off the main road. Through the hotel you can also go on a safari, where you’re picked up at 5:30 am in a jeep and the hotel prepares a breakfast picnic for you. In short, a very nice stay!

We were met with a warm welcome and a delightful welcome drink right when we arrived. Our room was very clean, spacious, and the beds were fantastic. The chef asked us what we wanted to eat, we could choose a dish ourselves, and everything was prepared fresh for us. The food was incredibly tasty! He also introduced us to various Sri Lankan dishes and flavors, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The next morning we arranged a safari through the resort, which was truly amazing. The chef had everything covered again and provided a delicious breakfast that we could eat on the safari. In short, our stay was absolutely wonderful. We felt very welcome and enjoyed the accommodation, the food, and the hospitality. Definitely a recommendation!

The staff are very helpful and very warm! The chef cooked us very well in the evenings with fresh ingredients. We could choose dishes from the menu beforehand. Breakfast was also tasty and sufficient. The room is very spacious with two large cozy beds. There’s also a small fridge. The pool is great with a pleasant temperature. The accommodation was very clean and well maintained. We also booked the safari through the accommodation and were very satisfied with it. Nothing negative.
