The staff were friendly and helpful, and the beds were comfortable. However, there were many parties in the garden with very loud Arabic music until 1 a.m., and the service in the Lebanese/Egyptian restaurant wasn’t very friendly.

This hotel absolutely deserves 10 points! The staff were extremely friendly and professional, the breakfast buffet was a dream and met all 5‑star expectations, the location at Tahrir Square was convenient, and the view from the terrace of our Nile View Deluxe room was amazing. There was nothing we didn’t like; we could even picture coming back to Cairo just to enjoy the hotel and the city again without the sightseeing pressure of a first‑time visit.

The 12th‑floor lounge was comfortable and I could relax there for all three meals. The water didn’t get hot quickly.

The staff and the quality of the breakfast buffet were great; special thanks to Mr Peter who was very kind and helpful with the rooms. I didn’t use the elevator, so I had to take the service stairs, which were not cleaned.
