The room was spacious. The construction seemed poor because the door lock wouldn’t work.

Very spacious, clean, and comfortable. A bit off the main areas, but that lets you find beautiful hiking trails and quiet temple circuits away from tourists.

The room was a good size, clean, and close to restaurants and train access. We stayed four nights and never saw another person—employee or guest—which felt eerie. Worse, the electronic code for the main lobby changed that first night, locking us out on the street in the middle of the night. The hotel’s email didn’t accept messages, and calling their phone gave an automated Japanese message. Thankfully, a message we sent got a reply within ten minutes, even late at night, and we managed to return to our room after a brief scare.

The rooms are truly spacious for a city property at this price, featuring high ceilings and plenty of natural light.

The place is clean, but there are no amenities, no hairbrush, and no cleansing products.
