A private terrace is attached to the Budget Double Room. The room includes a private bathroom with a shower. It offers two single beds and accommodates up to two guests.
The accommodation was cozy and right at the village entrance, with a pleasant and helpful staff. When I asked whether a island tour could be arranged, the hotel driver agreed right away. My time in Brava will always be linked to the endless Argentina vs. Cape Verde match I caught in the central square, which was less than five minutes from the hotel.

The property was clean, quiet and perfectly placed near the little centre of Vila Nova Sintra, making for lovely walks starting from there. Breakfast was very good and dinner at the hotel’s tiny restaurant was excellent, while every team member, especially my host, showed great kindness and helpfulness. My room on the second and top floor was spotless, with a comfortable bed and a spacious outdoor terrace. I enjoyed a cold local beer on the covered terrace of the little restaurant after a day of strolling. No complaints at all.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel located at the entrance to Nova Sintra, which offered stunning views and a warm atmosphere. Although the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with high-quality mattresses and a lovely view of the sea from room 8, I did notice that the hotel was a bit noisy, as is typical of many Cape Verdean buildings.
