“Incubo”

The stay was unforgettable! After booking at Cantinone, I called to inform them of an extra child. A very kind gentleman answered, simply asking for the breakfast supplement. We arrived at 20:00 with five people (2 adults and 3 children) and requested dinner as already arranged by phone. Unfortunately, we did not experience the same warmth or enthusiasm upon arrival. We ordered dishes, and after finishing the cotoletta, my niece asked for another because they were mini cotoletta. The owner, with manners I found very rude, told me the fryer was already turned off. I suggested using a pan, and she replied that she had also turned off the gas and would have had to turn it back on, but she would still prepare the cotoletta. I must point out that it was not a late request: at 21:55 we had already paid and received a pre‑invoice (not the receipt they should have issued by law), which I attach to the review. This clearly shows that we arrived early, started dinner early, and finished by 21:55. Before heading to the room, I asked if it would be possible to have breakfast at 7:30 the next day because we had to visit the local parks. While the gentleman was answering yes, the lady, loudly and in front of us, repeated to her husband: “7:30, 7:30!!!”. That attitude was very unprofessional and left us very puzzled; the lady may have all the problems in the world, but behaviour like that has no justification! The accommodation is simple and clean, but unfortunately lacks air conditioning and has very uncomfortable mattresses, so we woke up completely broken. This was the last of the problems. During the night we heard a lot of noise coming from the bar below.

“Ottima accoglienza”

Abbiamo soggiornato presso il Cantenone Rooms e nel complesso l'esperienza è stata molto positiva, grazie soprattutto a Bruno. Le stanze si trovano proprio di fronte al bar, mentre per il check-in e la colazione bisogna uscire e attraversare la strada. Piccola nota organizzativa: gli orari di check-in/check-out online non sono precisissimi. A noi è stato comunicato che il check-in è possibile dalle 14:30 alle 16:00 e poi dalle 19:30 alle 21:00, quindi non in orario continuato come indicato sul web. Meglio accordarsi prima. Il punto di forza assoluto è Bruno: gentilissimo, cordiale e disponibilissimo, ti fa sentire subito a tuo agio e tranquillo. La colazione è a km 0, ottima e abbondante, con dolci fatti in casa, formaggi e salumi di qualità eccellente. Consiglio vivamente la struttura per la gentilezza e la bontà della colazione. Unico neo: in camera non c'è aria condizionata ma solo un ventilatore, quindi in piena estate si soffre un po' il caldo. Perfetto nelle altre stagioni!. In estate manca A\C c’è solo ventilatore

“Prima stop op weg naar montelibretti”

The owner had actually just finished a day off but was ready to welcome us immediately. The accommodation is on the route of Via di Francesco. The room is basic but very comfortable and clean facing the gate of the old town. The café opposite is cozy and full of locals. We found the village charming. The oil museum is recommended. Thanks to Bruno for making some food for us while his restaurant wasn’t open yet. The hospitality was huge!
