Esperanza Guest House

The property was beautiful with a great layout, and the pool was refreshing and clean. However, my room was located right off the main kitchen because it was the only one available due to a late booking, and it was also next to the common area bathroom door, making it unpleasant to walk by sometimes. A guest mistakenly entered my room thinking it was the bathroom, which was a shock for both of us since I hadn’t locked the door; when I arrived my bathroom had no towels and still had rubbish from a previous guest, plus leftover food in the mini‑fridge. The room was otherwise clean. The host was kind and fixed the situation quickly, and I would book again without hesitation.

“Schöne alte Villa für einen Aufenthalt im kolonialen Stil”

I stayed at this charming old house with a great breakfast, beautiful rooms, and a lovely location, although it was situated on a fairly busy street. The hosts and staff were very friendly and attentive. However, I found the house to be quite noisy and the garden and pool area to be somewhat small.

“Waren schon 3 mal im Esperanza, weil es uns dort sehr gut gefallen hat”

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, thanks to the incredibly friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The breakfast was also top-notch, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. The hotel's location was ideal, just a short stroll from the waterfront and Table Mountain. However, I did notice that the hotel's proximity to the main road meant that it could get a bit noisy at times.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic small family-run hotel, a stylish historical villa located in one of Cape Town's most beautiful old areas. The hotel boasts amazing architecture and a stunning view of Table Mountain. The spacious rooms were beautifully decorated, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, with fresh towels provided daily. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I look forward to returning.
