The place was awful, full of cockroaches everywhere—in the kitchen, on the table, in the microwave, and even in the bed. All the doors were broken, including the fridge door. There was a bad smell in the air, and the bathroom was full of hair.

The shower pressure was great, the bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean, but the staff were typical backpackers and not very helpful. The place sits across the road from PaknAve Restaurant and Bars and Papamoa Shopping Centre, and the beach is just a short walk away. There’s plenty of off‑screen parking. The interior could use a freshening up.
