The location is great and the place has a lot of character; the team is friendly and helpful, and the pub next to the rooms made for a fun evening, though the décor feels a bit basic and worn.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was amazing, and the breakfast spread was plentiful – nothing to add, it was an amazing stay and we’ll return.

The setting is scenic and a solid base for hiking; the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the bar had a good vibe with locals and tourists alike – a very enjoyable stay and we’d happily come back. The only downside was that the accommodation was fairly simple, but it was comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay.

The hotel has a pub/restaurant attached. We arrived late but they still fed us even though we had just missed the kitchen opening time. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was good.
