I paid exactly what I was promised and the place was right next to Adam’s Peak, which was great. The staff were awesome and super friendly, but the phone kept ringing all night, so they must be very popular!

I had been there twice before. The location is ideal for climbing Sri Pada (Adam’s Peak). The Emofang was very warm. Dushyabth and his team are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and had everything you need. From the balcony you could see a fantastic view of the sacred mountain. The buffet dinner was excellent. My birthday was on 18.3., and Dushyabth and the team went out of their way to make the day special. For the climb at 1.30a.m. I received provisions with many good wishes, and after returning we celebrated with an extra baked birthday cake. In the room I could shower and pack comfortably before heading out again. The room price, including meals, was 22€—twice the value—and the driver’s accommodation was 6€. Everything was well taken care of. It was a great birthday and thanks to the team many times over; I wish them all the best for the future!
