The location was good. The staff and the building felt very old‑fashioned.

The room was spotless and had a pleasant scent, with a newly renovated bathroom that looked nice. The front desk was always helpful, and fresh towels arrived daily. A fridge and microwave in the room—something not mentioned on the website—was a great surprise, and the fridge was larger than most hotel ones. The location was very convenient, with a grocery store, pharmacy, liquor store, and auto parts shop right across the street. The bathroom’s bright, light colors contrasted with the room’s dark hues, bedspreads, and carpet; I’d have preferred comforters. The mattresses weren’t great, but extra pillows were provided.

“Great and affordable place to stay with convenient access to the Watkins Glen businesses.”

The place had an excellent location and we enjoyed a very comfortable stay. It was close to shopping and dining, and the beds were very comfortable.
