The spot was spot on, and the staff were warm while the rooms were nicely sized. We just missed having a fridge and the pool umbrellas were broken.

“Schöne Unterkunft mit Abstrichen”

The pool and garden were really pretty. Unfortunately the towels and curtains were quite dirty.

“Good managers difficult staff”

The managers were excellent; one helped me settle into my room and the other was very efficient, both professional. Two staff members handled the meet and greet: one kept pestering me to use his taxi while smoking right next to me, which felt like harassment, and a lady tried to overcharge my card by 5 percent, though the card fee was actually 3 percent. The first impressions were appalling, and they were laughing and joking, so it was a terrible start.

“Central location, some rooms need upgrade”

The central location was great, and it was very quiet at night. Despite the air‑co being broken in the older room that smelled of mould, the staff let us stay in a newer room with working air‑co. We talked to several employees but nothing was fixed after our first sleepless night; on day 2 they claimed to have ‘fixed it’, but I’m not sure an actual mechanic looked, because it only worked briefly before the same symptoms returned. Googling the issue suggested a lack of cooling liquid, and other travelers also mentioned non‑working air‑co in their reviews.

The staff were really helpful, the room was quality and the private quiet location in the newer style room with BYO towel, shampoo, etc. The only drawback was that finding the accommodation was a bit tricky via the lane because the car’s navigation system was vague – we found it after a few attempts. 😁
