Fehér Hattyú Panzió

Everything was perfect and we were satisfied with everything. The accommodation was clean, the bathroom faced the room. The restaurant was very good, the food tasty, and the service flawless. If we go to Gyopárosfürdő, we’ll definitely stay here again. There was nothing missing.

“Jedná se o ideální místo, pokud chcete pěšky dojít do akvaparku Gyoparosfürdö.”

The chosen apartment is part of a duplex, offering complete privacy about 50 metres from the main pension building where breakfast is served (the selection could be a bit richer) and 100 metres from the main gate of the local Gyoparosfürdö water park/spa. Inside the pension there’s a small shop, so you can buy bread and other items on site. The restaurant itself provides a wide range of dishes, though it’s slightly pricier than the eateries right in the water‑park complex. Besides a covered terrace shaded by trees, you can sit in a combined living room with a kitchen that has air‑conditioning and a TV. Another air‑conditioned room is the double bedroom with a king‑size bed. A smaller room near a separate bathroom and WC lacks air‑conditioning, so I don’t give it full marks. Late July brings high outdoor temperatures, and the window screens against insects can’t cool the room. I also appreciate the bathtub with handles, a rarity in the era of shower cubicles. The front‑door blinds and window grilles give a sense of security, and you can comfortably park four personal cars in the fenced garden where pears were ripening during my stay. The biggest disappointment was the local tap water, probably sourced from nearby healing springs; it’s clean but strongly odorous. I also have to warn about the roughly ten steps you must climb when entering the house. In the second bedroom there’s only a less comfortable sofa bed and no air‑conditioning.

“Dezamagitor , raport calitate pret destul de scump”

The location is close to the aquapark, and the stay was pleasant. However, the old facilities—especially the shower (water pressed against the wall, no curtain), the toilet—were lacking. I couldn’t pay in euros (the site displayed an estimated euro price); I paid with a card and was charged a commission, probably varying by bank, so they only accept HUF. Breakfast was good but not enough; you receive a list where you can choose only “one thing” per person and there aren’t many options, so the quality/quantity‑price ratio is quite high.
