It was very comfortable and I loved the décor. The house was full of eclectic furniture and vintage pieces covered the walls.

The only thing we liked was the location. Staff communication was nonexistent. The whole accommodation was filthy and dusty. Bedding was stained. Towels seemed to have been used for 50 years. There was even mold in the fridge. No milk, tea, coffee, etc. I would never stay there again.

I met Doree, who was very nice, and the place was quiet. However, it really needs a thorough clean. I didn’t like that the dish drainer and the drying area were in the same room as the toilet, and the front verandah and the area around the Caravan were cluttered with junk. The pillows were extremely flat, and the fitted sheet didn’t fit the queen‑size bed. The bedside lamp’s cord didn’t reach the power point, and the fridge didn’t work.

The spot is well‑located and the building has a charming, homely vibe. My room was spacious, equipped with a split system and a ceiling fan, and the shower was excellent. The bed was comfortable, and the TV offered Netflix. I had a microwave and coffee/tea making facilities, plus a small fridge in the room. Instructions on how to access the house were clear and easy. Host Doree is lovely. I didn’t encounter any real dislikes.
