The room was very clean, but the restaurant appears to be permanently closed, making it nearly impossible to walk to the next eatery; you’ll need a car or a bike. Breakfast was very sparse, and the welcome was also quite cold.

The location is great, the building has been beautifully restored with charm, and the operators are lovely and friendly. There’s nothing to complain about.

The hotel is lovely and very secluded, yet it has good transport links. It’s very quiet, the breakfast is good and plentiful, and the rooms are well equipped, though they’re only reachable by stairs (no elevator).

It’s the perfect base for our short motorcycle holiday in the Fichtelgebirge. The old mill is very idyllic, the breakfast is great, the hosts are friendly, and the room is nice with plenty of space to park motorcycles. Nothing to complain about. :)
