I liked the location and the coffee machine in the breakfast area, but the furniture and carpet were outdated; the property clearly needs a renovation.

“Good for a couple of nights”

The motel’s closeness to downtown and the friendly locals at the pub and grill across the street were great, and many people rave about the breakfast, though it fell short for a diabetic guest like me due to limited options. We ate at a local diner the next day. Front desk and housekeeping were courteous, and the room was adequate, but the ceiling light flickered until it burned out. A shuttle to Octoberfest in New Glarus was available, though we didn’t use it. We might return if rooms were available in New Glarus again. More diabetic options at breakfast would help, but the breakfast alone isn’t a deal breaker; staying only for a continental breakfast feels pointless.

“Cool, quiet, comfortable nights sleep!”

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was a little lackluster.

The room was spotless and roomy, and the breakfast was good with a friendly staff. The newer AC unit worked well, letting me sleep comfortably. I wish the breakfast had a wider range of options.
