The hosts were friendly and the breakfast delightful; on my wife's birthday they surprised us with a bottle of fizz, which we appreciated. The room, however, could have used a thorough dusting.

Situated in a great spot with plenty of eateries and pubs within walking distance, Sheila and Phil went above and beyond, offering spot‑on recommendations and a fresh breakfast. Every room even has a multi‑connector USB cable just in case you forget a charger. The bathroom was roomy and clean. The downside: free on‑road parking is first‑come, first‑served—on day one we snagged a spot, but the next day we paid £7 for 24‑hour parking.

The hosts were welcoming and eager to help, and the location was excellent. The bedroom was spacious with a nice en‑suite, though the décor felt a bit worn.

The location is super. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The hosts were friendly and engaging and made sure we had everything. They offered advice of where to eat and things to take notice of. Nothing I can think of
