Lusya B&B

A lovely guesthouse in a very quiet location — I finally got some really good sleep after a long summer! At the same time, shops and sights are within easy reach. The place is clean, spacious and has everything you need. And a special thank you to the wonderful host, Lucy, who did everything to make me feel comfortable and welcome. I left with the feeling that I’ve finally found a place in Armenia where I’ll always be welcome. ❤️ I would happily stay here again!

The place was spotless and the bed was super comfy. They welcomed me with peaches and tea from their garden, and the shower was top‑notch. The only hiccup was that Lusya doesn’t speak English and spent a lot of time explaining things; a quick picture guide would have helped.

The place was clean and airy, and Lusya was friendly and chatty, even washing our clothes for a small fee. But the checkout was a nightmare—advertised 11 but we had to leave at 9 because of a local holiday, and we only found out about luggage storage last minute. She also told us exactly when to shower, which felt a bit overbearing.

We were never left alone; the host kept following us, and when we declined her food she seemed upset. Getting tea or coffee meant asking for cups, and she only gave us two cups and a single spoon—talk about poor service. She was constantly cleaning with a rag, and the place had no hanger, just a pile of clothes on the floor. The toilet had a full paper roll for three days, but overall the cleanliness was overkill and the host's behavior was off‑putting.
