“Tutto bene grande host !!”
The location and the room. Internet is the shower. Na
“very good location however toilet shower conditions can be improved. consider adding a microwave in the pantry”
The location was great, but the toilet left something to be desired.
“12/10”
Our stay at Hunter Lodge was flawless: the room was huge, immaculate, and supplied free coffee pods daily plus unlimited tea downstairs. The shared washbasins and bathroom areas were clean and functional. The onsen was amazing—two private locked onsens were available at any time, we never waited, and they were incredibly hot. The hotel sits at the top of the T‑junction on the main street, so everything is within a ten‑minute walk: two ski resorts, shuttle bus to other resorts, cafés, restaurants, gear hire shops, an ATM, a convenience store, and more.
“Absolutely incredible.”
The most beautiful accommodation we stayed in on our trip. The staff were absolutely lovely and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The restaurant downstairs was absolutely incredible. On our last day when we were going to catch the shuttle bus down to the train station, one of the lovely owners offered to drive us down there instead. I can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you so much for being so incredibly welcoming and thoughtful 🫶
“Worst nightmare in Japan for us”
The owner was aggressive, yelling at my wife when I asked if breakfast was available, and the hotel smelled awful everywhere; it was the worst Japanese experience we had on our trip, so we left after one day without even getting a refund. I have no idea why anyone would give it a score.
