I never met any staff and was not allowed access to any accommodation, and there was no one to complain to.

Steyn guest Lodge is NOT a b&b; it’s a scruffy council house with scrap cars outside and a family living there, the guy is a scammer who claimed the room was double booked and there was no way we would have stayed because it wouldn’t have been safe. This property needs to be taken off immediately; the description and photos shown are not from that place.

“I was defrauded not allowed access to the property please remove this as a listing”

I was not allowed access to the building and felt defrauded of the money I paid.

“Avoid!!”

The property accepted my booking and took payment, but on arrival I was told there were no rooms available. No one at the property could speak English, so I had to cancel myself and incur a 50% fee. I was told over the phone that the same thing happened the day before with another customer. I am currently fighting to get 100% of my money back. I’m glad I couldn’t stay; the drive was covered in broken and stripped‑down cars and parts. Inside the property it was dark, dirty, and not very welcoming.
