The gardens were beautiful, and everything else was flawless.

“Definitely worth a visit”

The place felt cozy, clean, and comfortable. The host was incredibly friendly, and their dogs were equally welcoming. The only downside was the absence of a TV.

“Out of this world way much more than what I had expected. The hosts were amazing and I loved that.”

We had an amazing time; the location was clean and special for celebrating a milestone at Lila's cottage. The setting was gorgeous, and the hospitality and welcome were truly appreciated. Everything was perfect.

The crisp white linen and bedding were fresh, and the garden view was lovely. The decor was trendy, and the kitchen had the basics needed for a one‑night stay, making it very comfortable. The gas shower was erratic and couldn’t maintain a consistent temperature for a good shower.

“Loved every moment!”

I loved the loft self-contained unit, all in white, set in a beautiful garden, close to the shops and the wedding venue I was attending. The bath was luxurious and the bath salts left were an extra added touch, as was the filter coffee! The bed was comfy and the entire stay felt dreamy! The taxi recommended for transport to and from the wedding venue was high recommended as well. Would definitely recommend treating yourself to a night or two at Lily's cottage - even if you stay in Howick!. Nothing at all. I also liked that the owner was available for any queries - the staff were delightful and polite. And the room was cleaned while I was there
