The building itself isn’t brand‑new, but the room’s interior, bedding, and cleanliness hit the mark. Every front‑desk staff member, the luggage handlers, the breakfast crew, and even the hot‑spring cleaners were all friendly. The outdoor hot spring and the indoor large bath were great, and the amenities were well stocked. I was a bit worried about the distance from Dogo‑Onsen Station, but I only used the Pink Bus once at check‑in and then walked around the hotel grounds for dinner. The hotel’s private lounge in front of the station was a huge plus for storing luggage. The downside was that the large bath and the open‑air pool were on different floors, which was a bit inconvenient. After a small hiccup during my first soak, I managed the rest of the baths well. On the fourth floor, the number of makeup stations was low, so during the busy morning rush I had to wait a bit, which was a minor let‑down.
