The location was great, the staff were fantastic, the rooms were good, and the communication to reach the hotel was smooth. The breakfast was served, it was very good, but it was too much for us. The rooms were excellent, but the old structure gave off a persistent musty smell – even in the hotel.

Everything was perfect and the breakfast was great, and the accommodation was fabulous with a lot of pleasure.

Everything was great. The hotel was beautifully renovated. Giuseppe was happy to give us many recommendations around the town. Wish we were here longer than one night! No elevator, but it’s not that big of a deal (and they can’t help it).

The entire property is fascinating; it is incredible what has been fitted onto such a small patch of rock. The narrow house is accessible from both the upper and lower streets, with four or five floors spanning the space between them. And here’s a surprise: apart from the large hotels, this was the only place we stayed in Sicily—located within the historic district—that actually had an elevator (though it doesn't go all the way up to the top rooms, so you’ll still work up a sweat with your suitcase, it was a pleasant surprise nonetheless). The house features modern décor and very well-equipped rooms (the beds were perhaps a bit softer than I prefer, though that is entirely a matter of personal taste), the staff were very helpful, there was free parking just a short walk away, the breakfast was excellent. and, above all, the view was amazing. We were very satisfied and highly recommend it
