Located in Essen's Kettwig district, the Sengelmannshof is a charming hotel built in 1817, featuring a timber-framed exterior and a spacious beer garden. This historic hotel offers individually furnished rooms with TV, minibar, and bathroom, decorated in soft beige or orange colours. Guests enjoy local cuisine, free Wi-Fi, 2 bowling alleys, and rustic dining options, including a pub and lounge with fireplace.

Nice room, good breakfast, quiet location.

Free parking, a fairly large room with a third bed for our 4‑year‑old. The breakfast was very abundant and varied, top. Overall, I can't get used to the price‑performance ratio in Germany!
