The host arrived 1.5 hours late and seemed to do a rushed clean from the previous guests, clearly trying to hide the broken bed by not showing us our room. The door lock barely worked, and the toilet lock wouldn’t open when shut. The AC was the loudest I’ve heard in Palermo, making it impossible to sleep. In short, it wasn’t the Four Seasons.

We only had a bedroom and a bathroom, which got the job done, and the price is quite cheap. The location is pretty bad, but you can get around with public transport. Check‑in made us wait a bit for the host to come and open the door, yet when she arrived she was lovely. The air‑con was awful—loud, often breaking, and it blew warm air instead of cooling. There was no bin in the room, no spoons in the kitchen, and we couldn’t use the hob because there was no lighter. I wouldn’t recommend staying more than one night; use it just as a place to sleep.

The value for money is excellent, it was clean and met all our needs, and it’s seriously underrated. Arriving was a bit tricky because we got there late and they didn’t explain the payment process, so we had to wait. Also, there’s no elevator.

It was pretty decent for what we paid. The host was super nice, waiting for us at about 1 am after our delayed flight. Mid‑stay we asked for a room change and he handed us the key right away. The AC in the first room was a little noisy, so we couldn’t leave it on overnight, but everything else was great.
