The spot was great, and Alessandro was super helpful with everything—nothing seemed too much trouble. Watching the gondolas glide past the window was a highlight. Nothing else to complain about!

The apartment was perfect—spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a magical view of gondolas outside the window. Alessandro was fantastic, even arranging a private water taxi early in the morning so we reached the Venice airport on time. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Venice!

The location was spot on, just a short walk from the pier, and the breakfast was tasty. Gio was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the vibe really relaxed and homely. Just wish there were mosquito nets on the windows.

I can’t say enough good things about Gio&Gio. It was an amazingly lovely way to end our Italy trip. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the location feels both central and peaceful. Little touches—cold water in the fridge, fresh fruit, pastries, cappuccinos for breakfast—show the care for detail. Alessandro feels more like a friend than a host, super responsive, thoughtful, endlessly patient, and genuinely warm‑hearted. From tracking down elusive candy to searching more than five markets for the best route to the airport, he made everything so easy. Couldn’t recommend Gio&Gio highly enough to anyone visiting Venice.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment! The location was excellent, within easy walking distance of many attractions and close to water taxi access, which made getting around very convenient. The apartment was easy to access, and the host was communicative and accommodating, even allowing us to leave our luggage before check‑in. It was a little noisy at night because it’s on the ground floor, but it wasn’t enough to disturb our sleep. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this apartment!
